Taking Organizations Agile

'Agile Europe', a non-profit foundation promoting the Agile way of doing business as well as  managing your (software) projects, organizes a special and unique event: AGILE EUROPE 2010.

As a foundation, we provide Agile expertise, training and a certification programme for professionals. A maturity framework helps assess organizational units and teams to how far they have implemented and embedded Agile practices within their organization. Membership to the Agile Europe Foundation is open to everyone based in Europe and interested in 'doing it the Agile way.' Membership is open to both the individual business or IT professional as well as to organizations.

Agile Europe 2010 will be held at the Mercure Hotel, Val Thorens, France.

Our main upcoming event is the AGILE EUROPE 2010 gathering in Europe's highest village Val Thorens, France from 17-24th of April, 2010. During the whole week there will be lots of opportunities to go skiing or snowboarding, meet new friends and learn from Agile specialists during one of the many parallel tracks and workshops going on each afternoon and evening.

Workshops and networking opportunities enable you to meet other Agilists and enrich your knowlegde and experience of Agile.

While the Agile methodology has its roots within IT project management, its principles apply just as well to general business contexts. Membership of our foundation is open to European citizens as well as companies or teams based in Europe. The membership fee for individuals is just € 95,-- with a corporate membership for € 495,--. per year.
